Karen Boston was recently nominated to serve on the Maine State Bar Association’s Continuing Legal Education Committee. Her nomination was approved by the Board of Governors of the Maine State Bar Association. Karen's practice focuses on family law and personal injury cases.

David Lipman obtains order awarding primary residence of children to their father
In a recent post-divorce proceeding, David Lipman obtained primary residence for the children of his client, the father of the children. The judge, at the close of the evidence, ruled from the bench in favor of David’s client.

Jury exonerates LK client in OUI case
Congratulations to Jim Billings for prevailing in an OUI trial with a .16 test result! Jim and his client are pleased that the jury agreed that the officers involved did not follow the proper pre-test protocol which compromised the reliability of the test, and agreed that his client was not impaired while driving.

Karen Boston becomes a rostered Guardian Ad Litem
Karen Boston was recently approved to become a rostered Guardian ad Litem in Title 19-A (Divorce) and Title 22 (Child Protective) cases. Karen recently completed a four-day training program for Guardians ad Litem. Guardians ad Litem are appointed by the Court to represent the best interests of children in family law litigation. Karen has been practicing in the area of family law for 15 years. Her practice also involves representing people in personal injury cases.
